The MoV® Foundation examination must be completed and passed before attempting to take the Practitioner examination. If you have passed the Foundation exam previously, you do not need to resit it. If you pass the Foundation examination, you will receive a Foundation certificate. This also applies to the MoV® Practitioner examination. If you sit the Foundation and Practitioner exams on the same day, you will receive a certificate only for the Practitioner level.
MoV® Foundation Examination Format:
● Is 40 minutes long
● Contains 50 multiple choice questions
● Is a closed book examination
MoV® Practitioner Examination Format:
● Is 2.5 hours long
● Contains 8 questions which are worth 10 marks each
● All question parts are worth 1 mark, so the number of marks available equals 80
● Is in the style of objective testing (a type of multiple choice)
● Is an open book examination as the MoV® guide is allowed
MoV® Examination Information
The pass rates for both Foundation and Practitioner examinations is 50%.
Throughout the course, delegates will learn all the information they need to pass the examination first time. Example examination questions will be referred to, so candidates will be familiar with the format and types of questions that they will be asked. A series of ‘question and answer’ discussions will take place throughout the course to cement learning, and prepare individuals for the examination effectively.
Completion of the pre-course work and homework will enhance delegates’ chances of passing the certification first time.
If you fail an MoV® examination, you are able to retake it.
