Each Lean Six Sigma Belt level requires candidates to pass an examination in order to acquire the certification. The training courses provide delegates with everything they need to pass the examination first time.
All Belt levels require candidates to take an examination in order to gain the Lean Six Sigma certification. Belt assessments are formatted like so:
The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt assessment consists of an examination only. This examination is:

As this training course covers the Yellow and Green Belts, candidates must complete both Yellow and Green examinations.

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt assessment consists of two sections. Candidates are required to complete a case study activity in the classroom which is worth 50%, whilst an examination makes up the other 50%.
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Upgrade assessment is split into two sections. Candidates must complete a case study activity worth 50% in the classroom, then sit an examination worth the remaining 50%.
The Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt assessment consists of class work case study activities worth 50% and an examination worth 50%.
