Scrum examinations and pass rates

There is one corresponding Scrum examination per course - each exam has a set pass mark required for certification. Candidates must have studied on the corresponding course prior to sitting the exam. The Scrum Foundation Course has no examination, as this course is an introduction to the Scrum framework.

Scrum Exam Format

Scrum Master Certification Exam:

• 35-question multiple choice exam

• 21 correct answers required for certification (60%)

• 60 minutes

• Open Book - the Scrum Guide is permitted

• The 2-day Scrum Master training course must be sat prior to the undertaking the exam

Scrum Product Owner Certification Exam:

• 35-question multiple choice exam

• 21 correct answers required for certification (60%)

• 60 minutes

• Open Book - the Scrum Guide is permitted

• The 2-day Scrum Product Owner training course must be sat prior to the undertaking the exam

Scrum Developer Certification Exam:

• 35-question multiple choice exam

• 21 correct answers required for certification (60%)

• 60 minutes

• Open Book - the Scrum Guide is permitted

• The 2-day Scrum Developer training course must be sat prior to the undertaking the exam

*There is no exam for the Scrum Foundation Course.
