MoV® Methodology

MoV® provides a four stage methodology which defines what needs to be done to utilise resources, enhance value, and thus achieve benefits. The four concepts are:

Principles: MoV® is made up of principles. If such principles are not implemented, it is unlikely that value and benefits will be achieved. Organisations must tailor MoV® to their business specific requirements and objectives in order for MoV® to be successful.

Processes and Techniques: this refers to the mechanisms impacted by MoV®. Processes determine the suitable approach needed to increase value.

Approach: the application of MoV® to programmes, projects, and portfolios.

Environment: the impact of internal and external forces.

Additionally, the MoV® guide provides delegates with four appendices which focus on valuable techniques, documentation, observation of project progress, and possible project improvements.
