MoV® Courses

Our MoV® training courses are accredited by the PeopleCert, supported by AXELOS. They are also based on the HM Government’s Best Practice Guide on Management of Value.

MoV® training is split into two levels: Foundation and Practitioner. Both courses are somewhat intense and demand candidates to engage in at least fifteen hours of pre-course work. We suggest candidates also become acquainted with the MoV® guide, especially the glossary containing Management of Value key terms and language that they will need to know. Additionally, delegates will be expected to complete at least two hours of homework each evening.

The Knowledge Academy provides MoV® Foundation and Practitioner as one, joint, four day course whereby candidates can acquire both qualifications together. Two of the four days will be spent focusing on MoV® Foundation, and the final two days will concentrate on MoV® Practitioner. Similarly, the Foundation examination will be sat on the third day, whereas the Practitioner exam will be sat on the last day. Over the four days, candidates will gain knowledge and understanding of the MoV® guide, which concerns boosting value in accordance with business objectives. Accelerated learning techniques and reference to case studies will feature throughout the course to ensure delegates are picking up the content effectively, and they have the ability to implement MoV® to actual situations.

We also offer MoV® Foundation and Practitioner courses as separate entities. This allows individuals to decide whether they want to complete the certifications collectively or not. As well as this, their job role may only require the MoV® Foundation certification.

The MoV® Foundation certification is created to ensure delegates understand the MoV® guide, and acquire knowledge of basic MoV® principles and terminology. The Foundation qualification enables individuals to explain what MoV® is to people with no prior knowledge. Additionally, Foundation training permits delegates to play a role within a MoV® team, and is a good stepping stone towards further benefit and value management certifications.

The MoV® Practitioner training course is based on providing candidates with the necessary skills to tailor MoV® techniques to real circumstances and working environments. The Practitioner training aims to expand knowledge, and provide delegates with the confidence and ability to enforce MoV® methodology widely. An individual’s experience, the complexity of the conditions, and the available support connections are all factors that will be considered.
