How to add your Six Sigma certification to your LinkedIn

Follow this step-by-step guide to put your new Six Sigma Certification on your LinkedIn Profile or click the “Add to Profile” LinkedIn button. This guide uses the Six Sigma Yellow Belt as an example:

1. Login to your LinkedIn Account

2. Click on the top Menu

3. Click Me, then View Profile, then Scroll down to Accomplishments

4. Click Add/Plus Sign

5. Click Certification

6. Add “Six Sigma Yellow Belt” to the Certification Name

7. Certification Authority - Select “The Knowledge Academy”

8. License Number - fill your number in with the information from your certificate

9. Certification URL - link to The Knowledge Academy’s Six Sigma Yellow Belt Course URL

10. Dates - Select the date that you qualified and tick the “this certificate does not expire”

You are also permitted to add “Six Sigma Yellow Belt” to your Last Name field on LinkedIn as a suffix - this can be achieved through editing your profile name.
