What is APM PMQ?

APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) is a project management qualification created by APM (the Association for Project Management) that allows candidates to demonstrate a broad enough understanding of project management to be able to participate in projects of any size and in any industry.

Part of APM’s selection of project management qualifications, PMQ is an intermediate level qualification equivalent to IPMA Level D and SCQF Level 7, making it accepted around the world as a sign of project management knowledge. It is preceded by the PFQ (Project Fundamentals Qualification) and PPQ (Project Professional Qualification). Together the qualifications form a comprehensive career path for project professionals, spanning knowledge from fundamentals to professional expertise. Each qualification covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge, a collection of project management tools and techniques that have been created with the contributions of Project Managers and specialists around the world.
