What is Microsoft Office?

Microsoft Office is a collection of applications, servers and services. Some of the applications include are; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook email. The Microsoft Office desktop is available on windows and OS X, as well as on Windows RT tablets and the Office Mobile platform. The office mobile version offers a scaled down and touch optimised versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  It is estimated that over 1 billion people use Microsoft Office worldwide.
