Martin McGuinness and Queen Elizabeth demonstrate PRINCE2 principles

Prince2 as we all know is the most prestigious training course in the business industry. Prince2 training is currently taking place across the globe and is the reason so many individual salaries are rising during this economic decline. However, the prince2 practitioner certification does only have this positive result for certain people. Thus, in order to be successful within prince2 you must be a certain ‘type’ of individual and demonstrate certain principles during your personal and professional career.

Now to demonstrate these principles I would like to draw your attention to the woman who looks after us all and our country; Queen Elizabeth II. Today she travelled to Northern Ireland in order to famously shake Martin McGuinness’ hand. But, you may ask what this has to do with prince2? Well the principles prince2 desires in its candidates are bravery, forgiveness and determination. These traits are exactly what these two individuals have portrayed in front of the entire world today.

To go into the context of this hand shake in more detail is an absolute necessity. This hand shake has created the beginning of a transformation which has been waiting decades to take place. Despite the face the Republican party of Northern Ireland are strictly opposed to British rule, such an uplifting act has taken place; so uplifting it has been broadcasted worldwide.

This meeting took place in order to iron out all tensions between Northern Ireland and Britain. These tensions have been alive and screaming since the Good Friday of 1998. It is a common feeling throughout the Northern of Ireland that Britain is viewed as he occupier, and whose hands have dealt this part of Ireland a very bad hand. Yet today this was attempted to be put aside in order for Martin to meet the British monarch.

Now, the individuals involved, including those behind the scenes have agreed to meet one another as professionals. In order to demonstrate to those below them just what is the right thing to do. Indeed, it is not designed to place a cover over the past events which took place between the two countries, but it is an act of reconciliation. This is a lesson for us all to learn, especially those desiring to take on the prince2 practitioner certification. Thus this is a perfect demonstration of what it takes for two people to find agreements with one another; despite their opposing views. This is one of the most important traits any individual should uphold in order to be a project manager and take on the prince2 certification.

Now, let’s not forget that this hand shake has vital consequences and is important to Britain and Northern Ireland’s political future. However, when discussing project management and prince2 training the confidence, dedication and bravery both individuals have demonstrated today is something which should inspire you to create harmony within your future team.  As a prince2 trainee you will learn these qualities which are desirable in a manager, but watching something so extraordinary as what has occurred today on the 27^th of June 2012 is more than enough to teach you all you need to know about decency within the individual.

So, in conclusion if you think you can do this and demonstrate to your team such confidence and bravery then you are the perfect candidate for a prince2 training course.
